Autumn is the favorite time of many children. Its bright colors and the blue of the endless sky delight, fascinate and charge with positivity. The autumn beauty is reflected in music, poetry, stories and on the canvases of great masters. Children love to transfer their observations of changes in nature onto paper. And even though they are not at all neat and in some places not very beautiful, this is not scary, because the children are just learning to pick up a pencil and work with a brush.

Not every child will immediately figure out how best to depict the autumn theme. Parents or teachers should remind children of the autumn landscape. You may have to go for a walk together and draw the baby’s attention to the shape of the leaves, the color of the trees, and the blue of the sky. Let the child, upon arriving home, try to transfer them to paper.
Autumn themes may include a lyrical landscape.

Reflect the melancholy of migratory birds.

...or the beauty of swirling leaves.

Children's drawings autumn

Children's drawings can convey a feeling of melancholy from rainy weather.

Autumn is the time for mushrooms, so it’s impossible to ignore the beauty of the delicious representatives of late autumn.

Many children associate the arrival of autumn with the Day of Knowledge.

Autumn pencil drawing, step by step master class

Step 1
Drawing begins by drawing a large "V" shape onto paper using long, curved lines. Notice that the sides of the "V" are not straight, but wavy. One of the lines at the top has a small branch.

Step 2
A pair of long, curved lines are added to the design and extend down from the "V" shape. This is a tree trunk that thickens slightly near the ground.
Step 3
From the upper branches, curved lines of different lengths are drawn on both sides.

Step 4
The two lines form another wide branch extending from the tree trunk. Then additional small branches are made.

Step 5
The tree trunk is covered with leaves.

Step 6
A thick, irregularly shaped mass of leaves with jagged ends is added.
Step 7
Fallen teardrop-shaped leaves are depicted under the tree.

Step 8
Fill all bald spots with additional branches, twigs and leaves. The trunk is detailed using curved lines of varying lengths.
Step 9
Draw a second horizon line, rising above the first. Add unevenness on the ground and a few fallen leaves on it.

Step 10
A palette of colors is applied to the drawing: from golden yellow or copper to red-orange or brown. In the distance, following the principle of the given tree, you can add a whole forest.

Golden autumn drawing, step by step with photo

An example of a golden autumn drawing made in an unconventional technique - sponge painting. Such work will evoke positive emotions in the child, and will also show how to use familiar objects in drawing.

Materials:

  • album sheet;
  • gouache paint in four shades: red, yellow, green, brown;
  • brushes;
  • two foam sponges;
  • scissors;
  • disposable plates.

The contours of trees are drawn on the dense side of the sponges. Then carefully cut out the excess parts with scissors.

Three colors are diluted in plates to the consistency of sour cream: yellow, red and green.

Using a sponge, paint a yellow base on the sheet. Then they dip one tree template in yellow paint and the other in red paint and make neat impressions on paper.

On the sides of the picture there are imprints of fir trees and with a long stroke - the remains of green grass.

Add a little red to yellow trees.

At the top, the sun is depicted with a brush and the tree trunks are drawn with a brown tint.

Finally, reddish strokes are made at the base of the trees.

Drawings autumn 1st grade, 3 options with explanations

Alternatively, a child's drawing can be drawn using a real leaf and paints. To do this, take several sheets of different shapes, apply them to paper and draw an outline with a pencil. The middle is painted over with paints using a sponge or brush. Another way of painting is to apply paint to the underside of a sheet and press it to the surface of the sheet. The drawing is obtained by imprinting sheets of different sizes and shapes.

Landscape “In the Garden”

At the bottom of the sheet draw the outline of a hill. Then a counter line is drawn on the right side.

In the middle of the connection of two hills, another smaller one is depicted and two arched ones on the sides.

Drawing a tree starts from the base of the trunk.

Curved lines represent the main branches that are located inside the trunk. On both sides of the main branches, small branches with curved ends are drawn.

Leaves and fruits are added to the branches of the tree; several of them have already fallen to the ground.

To decorate the picture, choose autumn colors: yellow, brown, red and orange.

Collage of leaves

For work, leaves of various shapes and sizes are collected. Place one of them on a flat surface and cover with paper. Gently stroke the paper surface with crayons or oil pastels to create a stencil shape. Then the sheet is removed from under the paper and the next one is placed. It can be painted in a different color.

Autumn drawing, grade 2, 3 options with explanations

Autumn drawing with cotton swabs

Materials:

  • watercolor paints;
  • watercolor paper;
  • artist's masking tape (optional);
  • straws;
  • cotton buds;
  • wide brush;
  • water.

The edges of the sheet are covered with masking tape so that at the end you have a clean frame to work with. To obtain a beautiful graduated base, the sheet is first moistened with plain water and then a little color is added. While the paper is wet, draw clouds, then let it dry.

On the lower half of the sheet yellow, green and red shades are applied for the horizon. Leave the work to dry again. Mix black paint with water until it reaches the consistency of ink. A little paint drips at the bottom of the work. Then they give the children a tube to “blow out” parts of the trunk and branches. Where necessary, add paint. Let the work dry.

Using cotton swabs, yellow and red “leaves” are applied to the tree and underneath it.

Leaf under foil

The work looks original with a leaf placed under thin foil (the top should be shiny). Use your fingers to gently stroke the metal material to develop the design. Then the base is covered with a layer of black gouache or ink. Leave the work to dry and carefully go over it with a steel wool. The veins will become shiny, but the grooves will remain dark. The relief is then placed on cardboard.

Tree in autumn

The following work was done using regular salt. To begin with, the sheet itself is moistened with a sponge, paint is applied and the wet background is sprinkled with salt.

After 10 seconds, shake off the salt and dry the workpiece itself. Grass and tree outlines are drawn and then painted in mixed autumn tones.

Drawing autumn in kindergarten with paints:

Any children's autumn drawing, drawn with paints or a pencil, is replete with bright colors. Some people associate their favorite season with bunches of rowan berries, some with dreary rain, and for others it’s mushroom season. Kindergarten children are just beginning to master the technique of painting with paints, so simpler work is chosen for them and ready-made templates are often used.

junior group, step by step

Personal autumn drawing

The child traces his palm on a brown sheet of paper. Then it is cut out and glued to a white background - this will be the base of the tree.

Using a wine cork, multi-colored circles are randomly applied around the crown.

Autumn tree

The technique of drawing such a tree is so simple that even a three-year-old child can master it. For work, print out a template of the barrel, prepare paint, a brush and a round brush.
Paints of different tones are squeezed onto separate plates: yellow, orange, brown and red. The brush is dipped into one of the flowers and applied to the tree, depicting leaves. The tree trunk is then painted brown.

Finger painting

Children can convey their vision of the world using fingerprints. Drawings using this technique are unique and inimitable. Initially, objects are depicted with palm prints, and then switch to finger painting. For work, special paints are selected that are safe for the baby.
In the center of the leaf there is a brown tree trunk. Then, dipping their fingers in yellow and red tones, they leave prints of multi-colored “leaves” around it.

middle group, step by step

The educational program of the middle group necessarily includes an autumn theme. To work, they use a variety of techniques and an unconventional approach.

Drawing with a wax candle

To work you need:

  • a sheet of office paper;
  • candle;
  • paints;
  • autumn leaves of different shapes.

The sheet is placed under the paper and rubbed over the surface with a candle. The print is covered with paint. There will be gaps where the protrusions have formed. Repeat similar steps with other leaves.

Green leaves are used for drawing, because... dry ones crumble when pressed.

Wax crayons drawing technique

To depict the sheets, you will need office paper and wax crayons.

The sheet is covered with paper and chalk is drawn over it until an imprint appears.
For brightness, the white background is glued onto colored cardboard.

Autumn landscape

Materials:

  • sketch of a tree on paper or cardboard;
  • brown pencil or oil pastel;
  • Finger paint;

The baby’s hands must be washed before changing colors.

To begin, draw the outline of a tree on paper or print out a ready-made template. The barrel is covered with brown pencil or oil pastel.
Finger paints of brown, yellow, red and orange are prepared on the palette.
Dip your finger into one of the colors and press it to the paper. You can use one or all fingers for painting.
They make multi-colored prints until the tree is filled with autumn leaves. Yellow paint is applied at its base with one finger stroke.
You can add fallen leaves to the landscape or paint on birds and clouds. At the end, the work must be dried.

senior group, master class with photos

The drawing technique in the older group becomes a little more complicated. If a tree is transferred to paper, then the peculiarity of the crown structure, thickened trunk and its own bark color are already visible. Children's drawings must maintain proportion, close-to-far composition, and color possibilities.

"Wet" autumn landscape

Materials and tools:

  • watercolor paper;
  • soft brushes with a pointed tip;
  • Toothbrush;
  • a set of watercolor paints and a palette;
  • a glass for wetting and washing brushes.

The brush is dipped in water and wetted well. The tree will be made in the form of a random cluster of clouds, so there is no need to be afraid that the child will ruin the work.

Watercolor is placed on top of the previous wet layer of paint. This painting technique is called “wet on wet”. For foliage, a combination of yellow, orange and olive green is used.

Mix a little brown and black to get a gray-brown tint and use a brush to draw the shape of the trunk and several branches.

Then they begin the most fun and easy watercolor painting technique. Dip a damp toothbrush into yellow and, holding the bristles with your finger, begin to spray paint over the surface of the paper.

Similar work is repeated with orange and olive flowers. A toothbrush gives the thin foliage a misty effect.

Larger splashes are made using two crossed brushes.

It is better to start the work with lighter colors and have another wet brush without paint on hand. It is used to soften transitions.

Floral prints

Using fruits and vegetables you can create interesting prints on paper. Children will definitely love this technique.
Materials:

  • fruits (apples, pears, oranges, bananas, lemons);
  • vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, potatoes, carrots, corn, mushrooms, Chinese cabbage);
  • knife;
  • cutting board;
  • white cardboard;
  • paper sketch (optional).

At the stage of cutting vegetables and fruits, children need adult help. Before use, fruits and vegetables are washed and dried. Approximate cutting:

  • apples and pears - cut in half lengthwise;
  • bananas - halved;
  • oranges and lemons - cut in half;
  • corn - in half, insert a tube for the handle;
  • pepper - cut in half, remove seeds;
  • broccoli and cauliflower - divided into separate inflorescences;
  • mushrooms – sliced or halved lengthwise;
  • potatoes and carrots - into quarters or specific shapes, such as a flower or a star.

Place the paint in small containers. Make a sketch of the drawing on paper. The fruit or vegetable preparation is dipped into the paint, evenly distributing it over the surface. The template is pressed tightly onto the paper, making an imprint.

Broccoli plant prints are perfect for the trees, and rolling corn is perfect for the grassy layer.

Drawing with cotton swabs

A relatively new technique for children's creativity - drawing a picture on paper with paints and sticks - is very popular with children. For such creativity you need paper, cotton swabs and gouache diluted with water. Dot patterns are applied to the sheet with a light touch.

All work was done with cotton swabs.

Beautiful autumn drawings, photos

Children's drawings have a special spirit. There are no rules or canons in them, only inspiration and a child's spontaneous soul.
The autumn design can be voluminous or supplemented with natural materials: leaves, seeds and small fruits.

Multi-colored shading is another technique when the colors of felt-tip pens, pencils and even gel pens are mixed during the work.

It is commendable when parents support children's creativity. It not only brings people together, but also expresses individuality and helps cope with emotions.

If you have always wanted to learn how to draw, but for some reason you weren’t able to do it, then our article will definitely be useful to you. Here you will find simple drawings of golden autumn with step-by-step explanations.

Even without any special talent for drawing, you can draw quite simple but beautiful drawings. There are already many articles on our website that explain in detail exactly how to draw various drawings with pencils, gouache or watercolors.

This article will help you draw not very complicated autumn landscapes with colored pencils and paints.

How to draw a beautiful autumn nature landscape with a pencil step by step for beginners?

Now we will tell you how to draw a bright autumn landscape using the most common pencils that can be bought at any stationery store.

On a blank sheet of paper, we first outline the approximate location of our fence. To do this, draw a short vertical line below the middle of the sheet and slightly to the right. Then we draw a horizontal stripe crossing it and two stripes at the bottom, going to the vertical one.

We outline the trees. To do this, draw two vertical lines as shown in the figure. We draw a crown for the trees - large ovals of irregular shape. In the background we denote the forest with a curved horizontal line.

We draw the fence in detail. There should be a total of 7 vertical stakes. The two lower horizontal lines that we drew at the beginning are the rods behind the stakes. We also circle them. You can mark grass under the fence.

We make our trees voluminous - add a lush crown, not very thick trunks. Be sure to draw the branches in the crown to make the drawing look more natural. In the foreground we mark a path. You can take the path into the distance, or you can do it as in the photo.

. “Couldn’t be more detailed.” That's what we could call this part of the work. All the details that were conceived must be transferred to paper. These are clouds, drawing leaves, bark, grass in the foreground. Let's draw a little bird on the fence.

Take an eraser and remove all unnecessary strokes. so to speak, “cleaning up” the drawing. The lines should be smooth, single. Since a person is not a robot, the hand of even an experienced artist can sometimes tremble and produce less than ideal lines.

We take 5 colored pencils: 3 shades of green (from light to dark) and two shades of yellow (one lemon, the other warmer, a mixture of lemon and ocher). And with the help of these pencils, using vertical short strokes, we begin to draw the grass in the foreground and in the background. Please note that the grass in the foreground is drawn in more detail, unlike the background.

Using red, gray and yellow colors we draw the path and stones. We leave several small red spots on the path - these are fallen leaves.

Using a black pencil we draw the trunks and branches of birch trees. Don’t forget that the trunks of birch trees are painted with stripes (we use black and gray pencils for this), and the branches can be drawn in black. We paint the trunks of bushes brown.

Now let's play with colors! We take green, brown, red, orange, yellow and lemon pencils (if there are more shades in the set, be sure to use them too!). With all these colors we draw the crown of trees and bushes. To do this, we remember autumn and what colors the foliage is usually painted in autumn. For birch you can take yellow and orange, for other bushes - red, green, yellow, lemon, brown gray. Burgundy, marsh, and emerald are also suitable. Lastly, we add some color to our bird.

Using gray and brown pencils we draw our fence. Do not forget that the fence is in the foreground, which means it should be drawn quite well and in detail.

Using green, yellow and orange pencils, draw the background. And in the background we have a forest. Draw a forest so that when you look at it, you want to go there.

At the beginning of the work, we outlined the clouds with a simple pencil. Now, using blue and purple, we will color the sky and those same clouds. Use light vertical movements with a blue pencil to outline the sky, and with even lighter movements, but with a purple pencil, add volume to the clouds.

Bring the drawing to perfection, correct minor defects. The purple pencil on the clouds can be lightly shaded with your finger or a dry brush. The drawing is ready! Now you can draw a simple autumn landscape using a box of colored pencils!

How to draw a beautiful autumn nature landscape with paints, watercolors, gouache? Step by step for beginners?

What kind of gouache drawing can even a beginner draw? The answer is: “One that does not contain clear lines, shapes and can be almost anything, depending on the mood and desire of the author of the work!” In this part of the article, we invite you to learn how to draw a beautiful and colorful landscape using a brush and gouache.

We take two colors: blue and white. Mentally divide the sheet horizontally into two halves, the top one should be slightly smaller. Now, using wide horizontal strokes, paint the upper part with white gouache and the lower part with blue.

Create the background. Now our task is to somehow mix these two colors and make the transition smoother. We continue to apply white with the same wide strokes to the blue part, the colors will begin to mix and you will get a gradient. We highlight the middle with white color, as shown in the figure.

At this stage, we designate the horizon line and directly on it, using white, gray and brown colors, we designate the forest in the background with strokes. With a pencil we mark a tapering path towards the horizon from the near edge of the sheet. Along this path we draw trees with a thin brush and black paint. Try to make the trunks not equally straight. There must be bends, fractures - everything to make the tree seem “alive”.

Let the trees dry and use yellow paint to literally press the leaves into the paper. To do this, take a pony brush No. 4-6, dip it in water, then dry it with a towel or rag, make the brush fluffy by running your finger over it a couple of times and dip the brush in the paint. Then, using this “ruffled” brush with paint, we place “blots” on the paper in those places where the foliage should be, as in the photo below. These “blots” will be the leaves.

Mix yellow and white paint in the palette until you get a light yellow pastel shade. In exactly the same way as in Step 4 we designate the long shot. On the path marked with a pencil, we draw reflections of the trees.

Adding red and orange to your work. A few strokes of red on the foliage of the closest trees. We visually divide the asphalt on each side into 3 sections, separated by blue. Each section is painted red and orange. You can make a few strokes of yellow paint in the foreground on the asphalt - these are fallen leaves.

We mark the border as shown in the picture, adding more detail to the work. You can add more leaves, add a few branches to the trees.

Now your work is finally ready! Let it dry and place it in a frame.

If such a drawing seems too complicated to you, then try to draw a simpler version - just a very beautiful tree.

Take clean watercolor paper and visually mark where your tree will be located. We recommend choosing a place for it in the middle. Now take yellow watercolor, dip the brush in water, then in paint. We will need an additional item: a toothbrush, a stick, a ruler, in general, something that you can lightly knock on. We bring the brush as shown in the figure and tap the paint onto a sheet of paper.

Add another color - red. We get beautiful splashes.

Important! Do not put too much water on the brush, otherwise the drawing may turn out too blurry!

To yellow and red add green, orange and a few drops of blue.

You can add a few more colors: pink, lilac, malon.

Using a spray bottle, we slightly blur the crown of our future tree so that the colors are not so bright and beautiful tints are obtained. It is enough to sprinkle the drawing with water only 2-3 times.

When the paint spreads a little, let it dry, first shading it a little with a brush.

Using a thin sharp brush we draw branches here and there. Mark the trunk and the ground below with brown paint - the tree is ready!

How to draw a light autumn landscape with a pencil for beginners?

The landscape that we invite you to draw below is actually quite easy. And our step-by-step guide will allow you to avoid mistakes in your work. Good luck!

Mark the horizon line just above the middle of the sheet. Then we use an inclined line to mark the foreground - the hill where our trees will grow.

We draw the silhouettes of the trunks with two vertical lines. We try to avoid straight lines.

Between the hill and the horizon line we will have a lake. We mark its far and near banks on the left side.

The far shore can also be seen in the distance to the right. Mark a low forest at the top of the bank, as shown in the picture.

In the foreground, where we marked the hillock, draw grass. This is quite easy to do. Again, try to avoid straight lines.

Now try to draw tree trunks and branches as realistically as your skills allow. The tree on the right should be quite sweeping.

Now draw the left tree. In some places on the branches, draw leaves, draw leaves of the same shape on the ground near the tree. Where you drew grass, draw reeds in addition.

Shade the lake with a simple pencil using wide strokes, not tightly, leaving a large distance between the lines.

Take a simple pencil and shade the hill on which the trees are located. Don't forget that the shadow cast by the trees will be darker.

Shade the background as well, sorting it out into shadows. Paint the reeds with a medium-intensity shade.

Paint the entire background, including the lake and the left bank of the lake as shown in the picture. Moreover, try to make part of the lake along the shores a little darker than in the center.

Shade the sky with light pressure on the pencil. Then, using a little more pressure on the pencil, draw light clouds.

Using the eraser, highlight a small circle on the left side, as shown in the picture - this is the sun. Now the atmosphere is not so gloomy, and your drawing is finished! Congratulations!

Video: how to draw a golden autumn?

One of the rainiest seasons of the year is autumn. But at the same time, the trees put on elegant golden clothes, and before winter they take them off. You can draw autumn with colored pencils in different directions: “Indian summer” with the warm sun, the autumn season with golden leaves, or the time when it rains incessantly and yellowed leaves fall from it.

Necessary materials:

  • colored pencils in brown, blue, blue, orange, yellow and red tones;
  • regular pencil;
  • paper;
  • eraser.

Drawing steps:

1. Draw the horizon on a sheet of paper in the form of a long line.

2. Now let's add trees to the horizon line. They should not be detailed as they are located in the distance. There will be a lake just below the horizon. Let's draw the reflection and vibration of the water. From the upper side of the left side we begin to draw a winding bank.

3. In the foreground, draw a large tree with a small amount of foliage.

4. Draw a square on the right side of the bottom side. Let's draw a line in the middle. Let's make a frame in our picture in the form of simple lines. You can make some elements from the drawing extend beyond the drawn frame.

5. Now we draw the leaf and add veins to it from the middle.

6. Draw the general shape of an autumn leaf around the auxiliary lines.

7. Use an eraser to remove the square around the finished autumn leaf.

8. Then let's move on to applying the color. First of all, take a yellow pencil and apply it to the tree that is in the foreground and the autumn forest in the background.

9. We will decorate the foliage of the tree and forest with an orange pencil, since we are having a golden autumn. In some places we will enhance the color. The trunk of the tree will have a brown tint.

10. Decorate the sky and lake with a blue pencil. For depth of color and brightness of the drawing, add strokes with a blue pencil.

11. Decorate the shore in the foreground with yellow and brown pencils.

12. Let's move on to the autumn leaf, which is located in the lower right corner. To color it, take a yellow, orange and brown pencil.

13. Finally, we will outline all the elements in the finished drawing and give the frame straight lines using a ruler.

With this our drawing is ready. We've got autumn!

Hello, dear guests and members of the Eliseyka Club – familiar and not so familiar, active and modest, regular and “stray”! I'm glad for absolutely everyone!!!

In the article I promised that next time I would talk about how to paint autumn with colors with a child. My children love to draw, especially with paints. The eldest son Bogdan, he is 7 years old, has been going to art school with pleasure for the second year. Today is a master class from him :)

And at the end of the article, I will present you with a training video from a real professional, artist Irina Kolobova, in which she teaches children to draw autumn itself.

How to paint autumn with colors with your child?

So, first of all, we will need, of course, paints. We will paint an autumn forest, golden autumn, rainy autumn, gloomy autumn, therefore, on Bogdan’s advice, we will take watercolor paints. The young artist says that it is better to paint nature with watercolors.

Then we took a watercolor sheet*.

*It has a slightly different texture from the usual one (more dense, rougher, but sometimes smooth), absorbs water well, does not deform from it (watercolor in French means watery), it is also low-fat.

Well, the necessary little things go with them - a simple pencil, a rubber band (eraser). We also took dad, and as it turned out, it was not in vain! :)

In order to paint autumn with watercolors, it is better to first make a pencil sketch. Decide what will be in your drawing and make sketches.

In our drawing there are trees, sky, road. Now we take paints, arm ourselves with brushes, and fill a large container with water (you will have to change the water from a small jar very often). The first thing we start with is the background. Our background is a gloomy, but not rainy, autumn sky. This kind of sky is usually called blue.

I admit, I have no art education, other than the skills I acquired in art classes at school (which I graduated from... many years ago). But our dad went through all the stages of learning this type of creativity in art school. Therefore, he gladly agreed to give a master class to Bogdan.

After that, all members of our family were engaged in creativity :)

Chief artist!

And this is what we ended up with!

Golden autumn

Other drawings by Bogdan were drawn using the same principle.

If you want to draw autumn with a small child, then you can make a simpler drawing. For example, this one ↓. We drew him with Eliseyka, he is 4 years old.

Autumn leaf fall

And we didn’t draw this autumn maple leaf, but made an imprint of it. I showed how to make such drawings in the article:

The golden time of nature, which replaces the hot, sunny summer, brings with it not only the beginning of the school year, but the opening of the season of numerous holidays and special events for children and youth. They are carried out on a large scale both in schools and kindergartens. The program necessarily includes poetry and song performances and thematic exhibitions, at which children exhibit original handicrafts and drawings on the theme of autumn, drawn with pencil and paints. If your child has already been assigned to prepare something similar, then our interesting ideas will help you decide on the plot of your future work. We offer options for autumn drawings for preschool children, students in grades 1-3 and 5-6. Choose a master class in your age category and, together with the younger generation, create small masterpieces with your own hands.

Drawing on the theme Autumn in pencil step by step with photos - master class

Autumn is a wonderful time of year, inspiring the creative impulses of writers, poets, photographers and artists. Creative people, sparing no epithets and colors, enthusiastically sing of the golden shades of falling leaves, the gray-blue depth of the sky, the light transparency of the cooling air, the thick clouds hiding the sun and the monotonous patter of the November rain. However, not only delicate watercolors, bright gouache and richly hued oil paints have the ability to convey all the charm of delicate autumn moods. The most prosaic simple pencil copes with this no worse. With its help, you can quickly and without much hassle create a very colorful and atmospheric drawing, reproducing on paper with almost perfect accuracy a fragment of an ordinary autumn day in a quiet corner of a large city park. A lonely bench, an umbrella forgotten by someone in a hurry, puddles and fallen maple leaves lying forlornly on the asphalt... A typical, but very touching landscape that evokes slight sadness... Do you think that only a person with the talent of a painter can draw it on whatman paper? Not at all. Even a schoolchild can cope with the task if he strictly follows the tips and recommendations of the master class below.

Necessary materials for a step-by-step pencil drawing on the theme of autumn

  • simple pencil HB – 1 pc.
  • simple pencil 2B – 1 pc.
  • eraser – 1 piece
  • A4 sheet of Whatman paper – 1 piece
  • ruler
  • compass
  • protractor

Instructions for drawing with a pencil on the theme of autumn for schoolchildren step by step

Drawing with paints on the theme of autumn for kindergarten - “October motives” - step-by-step master class

The program of traditional autumn holidays, held at the beginning of the new school year in many preschool children's institutions, almost always includes exhibitions and shows of thematic children's creativity. On them, kids demonstrate various crafts and drawings on the theme of autumn. Preparing for such events usually causes a lot of trouble for parents. After all, most boys and girls of preschool age are not yet able to draw smooth, clear lines, correctly mix watercolor shades and masterfully handle colored pencils or felt-tip pens. The drawings of preschool children more often resemble “scribbles” and rarely resemble a beautiful image that is pleasing to the eye. Moms and dads have to put a lot of effort into helping their child create an exhibit worthy of an exhibition. We invite you to learn a very interesting master class on painting, but not with a brush, but with foam swabs. Even the smallest child will be able to operate them, and the result will look very bright, unusual and original.

Necessary materials for drawing on the theme of autumn for kindergarten

  • Whatman sheet
  • set of gouache paints
  • pencils – 6 pcs.
  • rubber bands for money – 10 pcs.
  • foam squares 10X10 cm format – 10 pcs.
  • wide brushes – 2-3 pcs.

Step-by-step instructions on how to make a drawing on the theme of autumn “October motives” for kindergarten

  1. Each pencil is wrapped at one end with a piece of foam rubber and secured tightly with a money elastic band. These are drawing tools.
  2. The work starts from the sky. Mix blue and white paints on a palette and paint the top of the sheet with a wide brush. Then a pencil with a foam edge is dipped in white paint and clouds are made in the sky using circular movements.
  3. The lower part of the sheet is tinted with dark green paint, and yellow and orange strokes are chaotically placed on top. This is earth strewn with leaves.
  4. When the general background of the picture has dried, tree trunks are outlined in brown.
  5. Using foam rubber, they are “dressed” in bright yellow and crimson foliage. When the paints are dry, the work will be suitable for display at a children's art exhibition.

Step-by-step drawing on the theme of autumn for children in grades 1-3 - video master class

This short video tells in an accessible way how to draw a picture on the theme of autumn with children in grades 1-3. The author advises to approach the issue creatively and allow children to create bright pictures not only with a brush, but also with their fingers. The kids really like it, and they are happy to dip their hands in paints to create their unusual painting masterpieces.

Drawing step by step on the theme of autumn for school with paints for grades 5-6 - master class with photos

For thematic school exhibitions, students in grades 5-6 can prepare a drawing on the theme “Golden Autumn” with paints. It will no longer be difficult for children at this age to make a quick sketch of the plot on paper with a pencil, and then paint the picture with delicate watercolors or rich gouache. Children in kindergarten will not be able to cope with such work yet, but children in grades 1-3 will definitely need the help of teachers or parents.

Necessary materials for autumn-themed painting

  • paper
  • paints
  • brushes
  • simple pencil
  • maple leaves

Step-by-step instructions for students in grades 5-6 for painting with paints on the theme “Golden Autumn”

  1. A preliminary sketch of the drawing is made on a sheet of paper with a simple pencil.
  2. Paint the picture with the desired colors and let it dry completely.
  3. Along the perimeter of the picture, every 5-7 centimeters, place small drops of Moment glue and apply freshly picked maple leaves to them. Gently press them onto the paper and wait for the glue to set. To speed up this process, an improvised weight of several books is placed on the leaves. In a couple of hours, the painting with paints on the theme “Golden Autumn” in a frame made of living maple leaves will be ready.
