JAZZ FESTIVAL IN UMBRIA
This season's program includes names such as Kraftwerk 3D, Brian Wilson, Giuliano Sangiorgi, piano duet two Cuban stars - Chucho Valdez and Gonzalo Rubalcaba and many others. The final evening, featuring Hamilton de Holanda, Stefano Bollani, Javan and the Baile do Almeidín Orchestra, is dedicated to Brazil.

ROSSINI OPERA FESTIVAL
The Rossini Opera Festival is one of the main musical events on a European scale. This is the only one international festival, entirely dedicated to Gioachino Rossini; within its framework, musical works associated with the name of this outstanding Italian composer are collected, studied and staged. Thanks to the work of the festival organizers, along with the famous scores, a large number of forgotten works by the composer were performed in the original version installed by the Rossini Foundation, which greatly pleased music lovers and connoisseurs.

Dedicated to Germany
The 50th season of the Festival of Nations, taking place in the Umbrian town of Città di Castello, is dedicated to Germany. MITO SETTEMBRE MUSIC FESTIVAL
140 concerts in 19 days
The general theme of the MITO festival in 2017 was “Nature”. The program includes 140 concerts that harmoniously combine two major Italian cities– Milan and Turin.
The works included in the festival program cover a period of music history of more than a thousand years. Compositions 115 will be performed modern composers, of which 10 works will be performed in Italy for the first time, as well as Ambrosian chant, works by Vivaldi, music of classicism, romanticism, the twentieth century, national schools. As many as seven absolute premieres are planned, among them compositions by Gianluca Cascioli, Pärt Uusberg, Virginia Guastella (commissioned by the festival), Nicola Bacri and the baptism of “Factory Song” by Francesco Fiore, written at the invitation of the Pirelli Foundation for violinist Salvatore Accardo and Italian chamber orchestra. 57th BIENNALE OF ART
Long live living art!
The 57th edition of the event is taking place again in the Giardini Gardens and the Arsenale. international exhibition art entitled “Long live living art.” The exhibition exposition is a kind of “journey in nine chapters”, nine lives contemporary art: the first two universes are presented in the central pavilion in Giardini, the remaining seven are from the Arsenal to Giardino delle Vergini. It was for them that hundreds of authors and performers played and sang over the course of ten days on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, in the streets of the city and in local theaters.
