“Now we cannot but be alarmed by the fate of a beautiful, bright, interesting woman, the world famous opera singer Maria Maksakova. And in my deep conviction, she is now in mortal danger. I sincerely empathize with Maria as a human being. But I would advise her immediately go to the Russian embassy and seek protection on the territory of the Russian Federation,” said Evgeny Revenko, a member of the Russian State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications.
